Usually I post on a Saturday, but today being what it is, I decided I'd do an image blog on Friday the 13th and other odd superstitions. Enjoy!

  2. When I was a kid, I made a decision not to be superstitious. (Precocious, I was.) For my entire life, Friday the 13th has been a good day every time it rolls around. I always look forward to it.

  4. I got two allergy shots and a flu shot this Friday the 13th--no problems, even with the full moon. Of course, I wasn't willing to say that until after midnight.

  8. When you think of all the other superstitions and legends people believe - religious and otherwise, Friday the 13th is rather a minor one on the path of ignorance! :)

  11. Why are black cats supposed to be bad luck? I've heard they have a harder time getting adopted because of this myth. Crazy!
