Stepping Off The Road

Just a brief word for today. I'll be quiet for at least a few days, but I'll be trying to keep up with blogs as much as I can in the meantime, in case you're wondering about my being absent. My nephew has passed away this weekend of cancer, and though it was expected, it's still a shock, and it still hurts.

I'll see you when I see you.

  1. I didn't give your name on my blog because I knew you don't really want to talk about it right now.

  7. One thing to consider is that he's not suffering anymore. It must be very tough on you and your family during this time. I'm sorry for your loss and just remember that your friends are here for you whenever you need us. Sending you prayers to your part of Canada.

  8. Oh my dear William, I am so very sorry. I lost a dear critique partner last month after she fought cancer three years, and it still has me down.

All we can do is go through the motions and let time do its work. Please know a lot of us are thinking of you.

  21. William, I'm so sorry for your loss and am sending prayers to you and your family. There's a Hawaiian proverb that says, roughly, one must cry until tears refuse to fall. We all weep with you and your family.

Russo, Maegan, and I really appreciate the support you give us through your comments, and our prayers are with you and your family. Take care!
